Shadow shifts are offered to give workers practical experience in real-life environments, allowing them to develop the essential skills required for them to provide the excellent service.

Recruitment Process

Throughout our recruitment process we ensure all our applicants have appropriate experience and qualifications, our recruitment quality framework includes:

  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) verification check
  • Employment history
  • Eligibility to work check
  • Two Employer references (one must be from the current employer)
  • NMC Pin Number check

A compliance framework is included in our induction training to ensure we are providing high quality staff.

Revalidation

As of April 2016, revalidation is required for all nurses and midwives in the United Kingdom to ensure that they maintain their NMC registration.

Coronavirus remains a serious health risk. You should stay cautious to help protect yourself and others.

  • Let fresh air in if you meet indoors. Meeting outdoors is safer
  • Wear a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces where you come into contact with people you do not normally meet
